POOL
TRAINING SESSIONS
Training sessions take place every Monday from 9.30 -10.30pm
and usually take the form of a warm-up followed by a specific technique that
may be required for the next competition as well as general stamina training.
DRY SIDE AND RESUSCITATION TRAINING
Dry side training takes place once a month from 9pm-9.30pm.Training
can take the form of practising marching (required for some team competitions),
resuscitation, first aid, and general knowledge of Life Support.
OPEN WATER TRAINING SESSIONS
The
Club run Open Water Training on several Mondys prior to taking the Open Water
Awards in August. The training takes place in the sea behind the Aquarena from
7.30pm and anyone intendiing to take their Bronze and/or Silver Cross need to
attend at least 3 of these sessions.
